I have a few bits and pieces to share with all of you. And I'm making progress on our monthly videos! August is done and will be shared next week. This photo above cracked me up when I saw it. It took me a few minutes to figure out what was going on. Those are my legs, but not my hair. I think Greta and I must've been trying to figure out something on the camera when this shot was snapped.
Earlier this year, it may have even been the end of last year, I was asked to help contribute to this book and it's hit the shelves. I have one arriving in the mail soon and I can't wait.
Speaking of winter time and skin, do your wrists and hands get dry and chapped this time of year? Sawyer has very dry hands in the fall and winter, and this just arrived and whoa is it amazing. I've been stealing some for my lips whenever I get the chance. We have always been big fans of Pawpaw, but this brings it to a whole new level. The combination of these two is essential for a medicine cabinet. We use the classic Pawpaw in the red tube for anything from rashes and hives to bug bites. The yellow tube has honey in it which means it's antiseptic and fights infection.
Can we talk jury duty for a minute? I got called in yesterday at 7:45am in downtown LA, only to find that I had to postpone it because although I was available EVERY DAY the week of my jury duty, and called in EVERY DAY, I am not available the ENTIRE NEXT WEEK if I get chosen to be on a jury. Can I share the level of frustration I had with this whole situation?! I diligently called each night for FOUR nights and showed up on the fifth day as directed to be told, oh you aren't available to serve all next week? Yeah, you have to do this ALL OVER AGAIN! Cue, tears.
I hope you enjoy your Saturday, it's finally going to stay below 80 degrees here in Los Angeles, and you know what that means? Fireplaces, boots, and scarves because if there's a 6 or a 7 in front of the degrees here we gonna f r e e z e :)
