Week 33 in the 52 Week Family Project
The last week has straddled summer and school for us. We closed out summer with a mama+kid trip to Abalone Cove in Palos Verdes for beach time and tide pools. Aaron and I had a fun double date with friends to a fabulous restaurant on Melrose. And we also said hello to fourth grade with Greta starting school. The boys are enjoying one more week of summer before they begin next Monday. We've been spending a lot of time in the backyard on the weekends getting a never ending list of projects completed. Little by little, weekend after weekend we are making progress. Moving our table and umbrella, hanging lights, transferring piles of wood, chopping more wood, meeting tree trimmers, fertilizing our citrus trees, hanging lights, replanting plants, pulling dead plants out of our garden beds. Quite the list we've made for ourselves, but this backyard is going to be party ready soon enough!
