Fall finally made an appearance here in Los Angeles. Well, if you can call below 75 degrees an appearance. We took full advantage of the cooler temps to drive further east for apple picking (post coming soon). It's a yearly tradition we do with the kids, and this year did not disappoint. Needless to say our entire weekend was centered around the autum theme.
The kids had picked pumpkins on our farm adventure, so Sunday Aaron cleaned the pumpkins with Greta and Gunnar (Sawyer and I were on a mom/son date) and for the first time we roasted pumpkin seeds.
After cleaning the pulp off the seeds he spread them out on a baking pan and sprinkled garlic salt and worchestire on them. We baked them at 300 degrees and when they were browning pulled them out of the oven. I cannot describe accurately how delicious they are! Extremely addicting and the perfect snack.
