Proud Mom Moment

Very proud mama over here. Very. Proud.

When Greta was 2 I started working with her on her alphabet. Sawyer was already a reader so she knew letters meant something. I knew she definitely did not have the interest and desire that Sawyer had so I let her set the pace. We took our time with the letters, and I'd say she can recognize all upper case, and the majority of lower case. But only a few months ago did I start teaching her the sounds of the letter. I decided to give it a shot last week and see if she could put a few letters together. I was curious what she would do with them. I know the letter sound itself and then combining several sounds together into a word is a huge jump, and I wasn't quite sure she was ready. Well, here you go. Apparently she was.
