On Fridays we bathe 🐶❤️ Promise the rest of the family bathes more frequently ☺️ Not sure about you, but I can tell it’s a doozy of a week when ‘car wash’ is on Monday’s to-do list and it’s not completed until 4pm Friday. Still no working dishwasher, one iPhone ran over by appx 15 cars 😩, city living chaos of helicopters, neighborhood bank robbery(they still rob banks?) and car crashes, wrapping our heads around trade schools and the reality that it’s go-time as parents to set our kids up with skills to support themselves and yet not sacrifice what’s truly important. Friday, thank you for showing up just in the nick of time 🙏🏻#mylifeatplaytimewithlouie

24 years ago these two had a sleepover and vowed to be best friends forever and ever and celebrate that friendship on August 25th each year. The friendship anniversaries don’t always happen on the right day and some years our celebrations are more exciting than others, but what does stay the same is the love and devotion I have for this girl. She teaches me how to be a better wife, mother, friend, sister, daughter...human, every day. She’s the most supportive friend who no matter the hour will make time, and she’s always up for a discussion about sunscreen, paint colors, orthotic shoes, teeth, or anything else that comes to my mind and needs talking through. You’re one in 4 billion Jane and I am so happy to have found you. And so happy we happened to accidentally reproduce daughters the same year😆 Let’s do 25 BIG! 🎉

I’m battling some insomnia the past week and this quote had me rolling, “I am not an early bird or a night owl, I am some form of permanently exhausted pigeon”, and that’s pretty much the perfect description for me. Also, I gave my parking permit to someone and I don’t remember who, and now I have no parking pass. Happy Tuesday 😆
